My husband, Jim and Betty's husband , Ralph were shipmates on the U.S.S Steinaker in 1950. Betty met me when I flew in to Norfolk and helped me to find a place to live and made me feel like family. Friends for 67 years, I will very much miss her. My deepest sympathies to her family.
