Betty Ilean Colwell Donahue

Betty Ilean Colwell Donahue, 61, passed away suddenly at her home in Chesapeake. Betty was born in Scottsburg, IN to the late Paul and Gertrude Colwell. Betty was a housewife and supported her husband and family. In her spare time, she loved camping along with arts and crafts.

She is survived by her husband, Joe; children, Angela Perry Philp (Dan), Christopher Sellers (Amanda), Christina Sellers (Jackie) and Aly Donahue; siblings, Loretta Colwell (John) and Ronnie W. Colwell; eight grandchildren as well as a host of nephews and nieces and her beloved dogs, Patches and Smokey.

A visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Tuesday at Smith and Williams Norfolk chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.smithandwilliamsnorfolk.com.
