Bonnie Jean Cribb passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 87. Born in Hannibal, Missouri, to the late Hugh Smith and Opal Dudding Anderson, Bonnie lived a life marked by resilience, love, laughter, and devotion to her family.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, William G Cribb; her second husband, Tony Garza; and her sons, Roy Allen Cribb and William M Cribb.
Bonnie dedicated her career to Finance with the United States Coast Guard, where she served with professionalism and pride. Outside of work, she was an avid gardener who found joy in nurturing flowers and plants. She was also an exceptional Southern cook whose kitchen was always open to family, friends, and anyone in need of a good meal—no one ever went hungry at Bonnie's house.
Bonnie loved dancing and listening to country music, and she brought warmth and energy wherever she went. She was known for her wonderful sense of humor and quick wit, traits she maintained until the very end. Her laughter, sharp mind, and loving spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Pamela Messina ( married to Mickey Messina) ; grandchildren, Jason, Michael, and Kristen; great grandchildren, Jacob, Alyssa, Madelyn, Diego, Copper, Gael, Manny, and Alina; and countless other family and friends.
