Carl Walter Glasberg, passed away on Monday, February 15th after a long battle with dementia. Carl was 93 years old. He was preceded in death by his loving second wife, Mildred Knight Glasberg and 2 sons. He is survived by his current wife, Deborah D. Glasberg, his daughter, Marie Moussie (Kurt); several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Carl retired from the United States Navy as a Chief Quartermaster having achieved the Korean Service Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal and the U.S. Navy Occupation Medal. Carl was a long time member of Bethany Freewill Church. Carl also had many hobbies throughout his life all of which were self-taught and done with proficiency. Carl also spoke a spattering of many languages including Japanese. A small memorial service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home on Sunday 2/21 at 5:00pm officiated by Pastor Mark Crews.
