Carol Patricia "Pat" Rediger, 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 1, 2026. Pat was born in Covington, Virginia to the late Paul and Regina Pharis. She was preceded in death by her sister, Andrea Sherwood. Pat met the love of her life, Perry, in Norfolk, VA and they shared 66 years of marriage. She was a woman of strong faith and was an active member of Discovery Church in Virginia Beach. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and many friends, cooking and listening to music. Pat will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend. Pat retired in 2002 from her position in banking operations with Bank of America after 37 years of employment.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Perry; children, Steve (Alesia Rediger), David (Robin Rediger) and Carol Murray (Dan Murray); and grandchildren, Seth, Alec and Brooke Rediger, and Hannah and Hayden Beldon.
The family invites you to a time of visitation at 10:00 AM, memorial service at 11:00 AM and reception at 12:00 PM on Monday, 12 October 2026 at Discovery Church, 4881 Euclid Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. You are also welcome to join the family for a graveside service at 2:30 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Boulevard, Norfolk, VA 23502.
