Cecilia Damaso Dancel

Cecila Damaso Dancel, 91, passed away on Monday December 11, 2023 in Virginia Beach to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Cecilia was born in Zambales, Philippines to the late Juan and Epifana. She was also predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Romeo Dancel as well as her son, Mac Damaso. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is cherished in memory by children, Romeo Dancel, Jr. and his wife, Norma, Ruben and his wife, Connie, Susan and her husband, Ross Younker, Gina Robertson and her husband, Chris and John “JJ” Dancel and his wife, Amanda; grandchildren, Racine, Jeremy, Jared, Jacqueline, Ruben, Jr., Jessica, Ruelle, Jaysen, Sully, and Brenden; great grandchildren, Kai, Tate, Parker, Kaiden and Rosalie and her sister, Blandina Mauricio. There are also many other significant family members and friends of Cecilia that will remain in their memories forever.

There will be a visitation from 6-8pm, Friday, January 12, 2024 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in the chapel. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2pm, Saturday, January 13, 2024 in the Woodlawn Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
