Charles is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Valerie Stutsman; brothers, Art (Pam) Stutsman and Arnold (Lisa) Stutsman; and sisters, Elizabeth Stutsman, Esther Zimmerman and Virginia (Jim) Bennett.
He is predeceased by his parents, Reinhard Wesley Stutsman and Louise Ruth Stutsman; along with his twin brother, Carl Stutsman; and brother-in-law Fred Zimmerman.
Charles graduated from Edmonds High School (Washington) and University of Idaho (Moscow, ID).
He worked as a Broadcast Engineer for WAVY - 10 for 31 years and retired in 2020.
Interests included: travel, model railroading, radio frequency monitoring, gardening, involvement at First Baptist of Norfolk and Gideons (Norfolk camp), Lifesavers Life Group and Tuesday morning men's prayer group. Charles' hearts desire is that you will experience the joy of knowing Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.
Please join in the celebration of his life on Friday, August 22nd, at 11AM at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A time of fellowship will occur Thursday, August 21st from 5PM to 7PM at Woodlawn.
A special "thanks" to all of the medical team for their expertise, love, and devotion to Charles, especially in his final days. A big hug to all who reach out to Valerie offering love, prayers, encouragement, and practical help.
