Conchita Tapang Pabustan

Conchita "Chit" Tapang Pabustan, 86, went to be with the Lord on December 9, 2021. She was born on February 1, 1935 in Bulacan, Philippines to the late Pedro and Fidela Tapang. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Leonardo "Nanding" Carreon Pabustan.

Chit graduated from Centro Escolar University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and taught school in the Philippines. She dedicated her life to her family and close friends. Chit enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time at home with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Carolyn Rice (Charles); sons, Lloyd Pabustan (Maggie) and Leonard Pabustan (Grace); three grandchildren: Ava, Quinn, and Kyle; and her sister, Nory.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 1-2 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk. A service will be held at Woodlawn Chapel following the visitation at 2 p.m.
