Corrie is survived by her son Thomas "Billy" Garris (Ginny); Grandsons Tommy(Anna) Garris, Adam Garris, and John Garris; Granddaughter Lisa Johnson; Great-Granddaughter Aria Garris and special friend Cliff Evans.
Corrie was preceded in death by her husband Jonas Garris; their daughter Debra Garris; her father Cecil Marshall and her mother Corrie Marshall.
Corrie was an amazing person, sister, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to all. She was a strong christian woman, sunday school teacher for over 50 years. Always willing and able to serve her community.
A visitation for Corrie will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 7, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Following the funeral a reception will be held at Brentwood Baptist Church, 8026 Old Oceanview Rd, Norfolk, VA 23518
