Daniel Hatter, affectionately known as ‘The Mad Hatter”, passed away on June 23, 2021 at the age of 83. He worked over 60 years at different movie theaters performing every job from ticket-taker to popcorn popper to projectionist. Daniel worked at the Beach and Bayne Theaters in Virginia Beach and many others, the most recent of which was Regal Cinema at Greenbrier. Dan had many loves: movies, cats, classical music and most of all, his cigars. He was a gentleman to the end and will be missed by many. A graveside service will be on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens located at 6329 E. VA Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23502.
