David Ross Magner

David Ross Magner, born on 28 August 1987, passed away unexpectedly 16 October 2020. David’s kindness and generosity touched so many lives, and the world already feels dimmer without him in it. David was predeceased by his Grandparents, Bob and Zanna McPhail, whom he loved so dearly. He was also predeceased by his loving grandfather, Gaylord Magner. David is survived by his loving mother Debra McPhail, loving father and stepmother Kenny and Patricia Magner, his Grandmother Mary Magner, his Uncle Brian McPhail and Wife Cindy McPhail and their daughter Alexis, Uncle Wayne Magner, Uncle Eric Magner, and Aunt Sharon Collison and husband Donnie Collison. David is also survived by his brother Glenn Magner, Stepsister Meghann Kingsbury and her husband Seth Kingsbury, Stepbrother Nathan Kirk, and his wife Pamela Kirk, as well as his nieces, nephews and cousins. David was employed at Sumitomo Drive Technologies for the past 3 years and loved his job. David found his extended family when he became a member at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Club, later becoming a Trustee. He absolutely loved all his Eagles brothers and sisters and had a very special place in his heart for Blanche, Crystal and Ruth. David was always there when you needed him, and because of that integrity and loyalty, he will be missed by many. The Fraternal Order of Eagles at 1061 N. Newton Road in Virginia Beach, will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Friday October 23, 2020 from 4 until 11 pm. The Eagles Service will begin at 6pm. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come.
