I want to express my deepest sympathies to David's family. We knew each other in high school, and we were very close. I was shocked when I read this on the internet today. It's hard to believe that he's gone. I know he is an guardian angel up in heaven. He was an amazing person, and he left this earth too soon. Always remember what a wonderful person he was. He will always be in my heart, never forgotten.

What stick to me, is the time he came to grandpa, and grandma Mayhue had their 50th anniverary. David atend that menberaily day.   
The day after was the reunion, but had to fly back, so it was me who drive him to the airport.  
David wanted to stop a McDonals, so we went thru the drive thru.  When we left McDonals we had 30 minutes to make to the airport. We made a 45 minute into 20 minutes When got out of the car, this is what said "AUNT PENNY I'LL FLY WITH YOU ANYTIME."   
David was loved by all of his family members.

It's very hard to hear such sad news.  I'm sorry for the pain you all are feeling.  I hope that old saying is true about time healing wounds. I'll remember David standing by that huge tree in front of Grandma's house and feel happy about playing with such a nice boy.(that says alot since I have 3 brothers) I'll laugh out loud when I remember how jealous I was when David and Bruce got their vitamins and I didn't get that candy too! You were the best husband you could be, a Wonderful Dad to your to Jonathan and Cheyenne, a good brother always trying to make things right and in the end you did, the best Uncle (always winning stuffed animals for Abigail) and you were my baby. It's hard going on without you, but I know I must. I promise to be there for Jonathan and Cheyenne always.  You can rest knowing your love for your children will be carried on me and your brother and sister. We won't let you down. Your love of family and friends will always surround us. I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  I have always felt a kinship to this family since dating Roger and working at GBHS with Bruce.  I will keep David and his family in my prayers.  I was once a single mom too and if Mary needs anything, she may contact me.  All my best, Cammy

My thoughts and prayers are with David's family at this sorrowful time.  I will always remember David as an amazing dad.  No matter how bad David felt, or how far away they moved, he made sure to bring Jonathan to scouting meetings and functions.  David always tended our campfires on family camping outings.  Our campfire will not burn as bright or as warm without David.
