He is survived by his mother, Alma Riddick Terry; brother, James T Terry (Crystal and their 4 children); Aunt, Blanche (Joy) Vick; cousins and other extended family members; and his devoted friend, Joe Matthews of Norfolk. He was preceded in death by his beloved father, CWO3 James Terry.
David graduated from Lake Taylor High School in 1981. He also attended Norfolk Catholic School and the College of William & Mary. He worked as a facilities technician at Larchmont Apartments for many years, the food service industry and the Norfolk Naval base.
David was a loving, dedicated son who loved and adored his home and family. He enjoyed reading and loved nature and wildlife. He had a kind and generous heart. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A graveside service will be held Monday, September 8th at 1PM at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
