She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Ronnie and her daughters; Beth Simons and husband Ken; Jamie Helvie and husband Ray and three grandchildren, Noah & Gus Simons and Emma Helvie all from Virginia Beach
Also left to cherish her memory is her sister, Patricia Bell and her nieces Kim Jones and Tracey Babcock all of Camden NC; her aunt Ann Nardoianni of Norfolk as well as many close cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father, William Redding; brother, William Redding Jr.; mother, Patricia Kemman and stepfather John Kemman.
Debbie began her career as a registered nurse and later worked as a checker with the I.L.A. She was the most loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Family would like to thank the staff at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center for the care they provided.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday February 4th at Woodlawn Funeral Home 6329 E. Va. Beach Blvd. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 3rd from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the same location.
