Dorothy Mae Ferrell

She was born in Nash County, North Carolina on October 28, 2019 to the late William and Mamie Flowers. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Ferrell. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Jerry Wayne Ferrell (wife Pam); daughter, Carolyn Ann Nester; grandson, Jerry Ferrell, Jr. (wife Christy); granddaughters, Stacy and Amy Nester and great-grandchildren, Cory Evans, Katelyn Nester and Londyn Ferrell.

Dot loved to cook and bake and was well-known for her chocolate pies and pecan pies. Spending time in her garden was a favorite pastime. Dot was very strong in her faith and was always reading the bible in her spare time.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 12:30 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens located at 6309 East Virginia Beach Boulevard, Norfolk, Virginia 23502.
