Dorothy Etta Harris Smith, 96, of Norfolk, VA went to be with the Captain of her heart Sunday, May 29, 2016. She was born on May 20, 1920 in Los Angeles, California. She leaves behind 2 daughters: Donna Carr and Nodjie Conner, 2 sons-in-law: Gary Carr and Char Conner, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. The funeral service is Friday, June 3, 2016 at Woodlawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 6329 Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23502.
