Ed was such a special man.  We will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

In times like these Heaven's whisper resonates with notes of distinction for those of us who had the privilege of knowing this great man. It is the clarity of these notes that soothes the ache, the sadness, the feeling of emptiness left by the one who held so many names- husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, musician, friend. The beauty of his life was not found in its perfection, but in its faithfulness, the steadfastness of it in the midst of its flaws. It was a life well spent. It was good and those of us who had a name for him were refreshed by its melody. So, for now, the emptiness left by a life so rich, the ache, and the sadness we bear are soothed by the notes of the song Heaven plays today for Uncle Ed-"Well done my son. Now enter into My rest." We may mourn his passing today, but we will always be filled with the rich, melodious sounds of his lifesong. Brenda Edmondson

Please, express my condolences to the Sipe Family, especially Richard.  My heart is truly with you all today as you endure this loss, but rest assured that he is in God's hands and in a better place than we are.  Praying for you today!

Many years ago, I helped the Sipe Bros. record an album of square dance music, and I recall how much Ed enjoyed playing bluegrass music with his brothers. The end result of our musical efforts was truly a "joyful noise" which I will always remember. My sympathies to the family - I hope Ed and I will have a chance for more tunes one day in Fiddlers' Green

Uncle Ed was the Rock of the Sipe familey,and to many many others as well. He was always willing, and helped so many of us in so many ways, you could never put a number to it. I honestly can say he lived a life that truly exemplified Christ. He loved our Lord, Jesus Christ with all his heart, and that love flowed through him to us. He has set, for us, an example we all should strive for.   
First Timothy 6:12 " Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you where also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses".   
He lived this.... Daily. We all in this life will miss him, tremendously. But this I know.... Our loss, is heavens gain.   
I love you Uncle Ed, you taught me alot and have been a blessing to me in more ways than you ever thought, here on earth. Rosin up that fiddle bow, and play a gooden for our King.

Dear Ms.Sipe and the entire Sipe family . My sincere condolences and sympathies during this time of sorrw.   
.  Ed was a very good man and  friend of every one that knew him.  he loved his music , and could always be counted on for a very good musical show .      
I alway's found Ed to be very fair and honest, in the work place or on the stage playing the fiddle as he loved to do .   
  Ed will be sore'ly by all that that knew him.    
Please stay strong , Time heals  the pain  and sorrow , but will never take away the good memories of Ed . .
