Elizabeth Anne Vick, 95, of Virginia Beach passed away after a brief illness on August 25, 2021. Elizabeth was the youngest of six children born to Homer and Ethel Merritt. She was a native of Prestonsburg, KY, but called Virginia Beach home for more than sixty years. Her family relocated to the Hampton Roads area where she met her husband of 48 years, Wayne Wallace Vick originally of Norfolk, VA.
Elizabeth was a dedicated mother to her two sons Brian and Patrick. They were the focus of her life until the end.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Wayne, infant son Kenneth, parents and siblings. She is survived by her sons Brian and his wife Margaret of Virginia Beach and Patrick and his wife Song of Yorktown, four grandchildren (Sara, Ryan, Matthew and Rebecca), and three great grandchildren (Allison, Cash, and Rilyn).
Graveside services will be Thursday, September 2, 10 a.m. Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Elizabeth may be made to the Kempsville Volunteer Rescue Squad, or the Gideons International.
