Evelyn Harrison

Evelyn was born to the late Harry Smith and Marie O'Keefe February 7, 1929 in New Jersey. She is pre-deceased by her husband Oliver Harrison. She was a devoted volunteer with Plaza Rescue Squad, and was a member of the Roma Lodge.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Ruby Harrison, and Barbara Spreder and her husband Rick; two sons,Oliver Harrison, and Brian Harrison and his wife Deana; one sister, Dorothy Garrett; six grandchildren, Richard Spreder Jr. and his wife Creedence, Paul and Beth Spreder, Brandon, Arden, and Avery Harrison; four great-grandchildren, Trey, Aven, Collin, and Torrence Spreder. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Windermere for all of their devoted care.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 to 2 pm with services following in Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk. Interment will be private, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association or the American Cancer Society.
