Florence T. Miller born April 1, 1931, longtime resident of Virginia Beach died on August 1, 2012 @9:15pm after a long battle with breast cancer. She was the last surviving child of her Polish Catholic Immigrant parents Mr. and Mrs. Sieklucki of New York City. Proceeding her in death was her teenage sweetheart Robert L. Miller a Senior Master Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy, also a Veteran Retired Norfolk Police Department Detective. Florence was a longtime member of St. Gregory’s Catholic Parish in Virginia Beach and assisted in many parish ministries. She was loved by many people, and will be remembered by her heart of gold. Viewing will take place Monday, August 6, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk 23502 with Funeral Services on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 10:00 am at St. Gregory Parish 5345 Virginia Beach Blvd, VA Beach 23462.
