Gene left behind his wife Billie Dozier. They were married 64 years and had four beautiful children together. Gene is also survived by Steve Mark Dozier, Billy Renon Dozier and Susan Renee McCrodden; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and Sister Marie Ward. Gene is Predeceased by his parents Renon Oliver Dozier and Freda Estell Simpson; Brothers, Melvin and Edward Dozier; Sister Diane Clark and his son Royce Gene Dozier.
He will be Greatly missed by all. We know you are in heaven with God. We will see you again someday. We thank God for not letting you suffer anymore here on earth. You are now with the good lord above. We love and will miss you so much.
A graveside service for Gene will be held Friday, March 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6309 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, Virginia 23502.
