Grace G Fullerton

VIRGINIA BEACH - Grace G. Fullerton, 90, wonderful and lovable mom and grandmother, went to be with the Lord March 30, 2017. She was born in Staten Island, N.Y. to the late George and Grace Slaven. Grace is preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Raymond A. Fullerton, Sr. USN Retired, and brother George A. Slaven. She served her country as a Wave in the U. S. Navy and worked in retail sales at Leggett. Grace enjoyed being a member of the Navy Wives Club and Bowling Leagues. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Patricia “Patty” F. Backus (Butch), Raymond A. Fullerton, Jr., (Cass) and George A. Fullerton (Mary), grandchildren; Robin (Eric), Ray, Katie (Jake), Brian (Tory), Jenny (Jose) and Kelly, great-grandchildren; Kayla, Kristin, Kourtney, Avery, Rylie and soon to come; Summer, Kenzie, Baby Backus and childhood friends from Staten Island; Flo and Marie. Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk on April 2, 2017 from 5-8pm and a graveside service will be held at 10am at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens on April 3, 2017.
