Harriet E. Large, 89, passed away Thursday, January 5, at Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital. She was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Julius D. and Mary P. Large. Harriet was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Norfolk.
Harriet is predeceased by her brothers Julius D. Large, Jr. and Paul M. Large; sister Elizabeth L. Lawrence. She is survived by her brothers Wilfred Large (Carole) of Virginia Beach, Donald Large (Betty D.) of Chesapeake, and Alfred Large (Ellen R.) of Virginia Beach; one sister Doris L. Bevan (William) of Richmond; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 12pm to 1pm, Tuesday, January 10, in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk and where funeral services will follow at 1pm. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Calvary Presbyterian Church, 150 Kempsville Rd. Norfolk, 23502 or a charity of your choice.
