Helena Wirth Pettine-Holland

Helena Wirth Pettine-Holland, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at the age of 69. Helena was born in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Michael J. Pettine and Barbara T. Wirth. Helena was a parishioner of St. Pius X Catholic Church, worked as an accounts manager with MDV Nash Finch for over 25 years with her retirement in 2011, loved to sew, go to the beach, and read Steven King novels, but most of all she had a big heart and really loved her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lynn-Marie Allen and Tina C. Giles; her sister, Christine P. O’Brien; her grandchildren, Leigh-Anna M. Boles, William K. Allen, Dillon S. Allen, Elicia C. Maruez, Isabell M. Marquez, Riley Allen, and Franklin Allen. She is preceded in death by her father, Michael J. Pettine; her mother, Barbara T. Wirth; her husband, William Holland; and her son, Thomas Forehand. The family will honor Helena’s life with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7800 Halprin Drive, Norfolk, VA 23518 on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 11:00 am, followed by interment within the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6309 E.
