Norfolk, VA Mr. Henry A. Young, Sr., age 85, passed away at his early Friday, November 6, 2009 with his wife of 65 years, Ouida "Wheat" C. Young by his side. Mr. Young was a member of Virginia Heights Baptist Church and a retired upholsterer. Also surviving are a son, Henry A. Young, Jr. and his wife, Ginger of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Judy McGranahan and her husband, Johnnie of Littleton, NC; one brother, Vernon Young of Chesapeake and two sisters, Betty Wills(J. C.) and Ida Jane Curfman(Bobby) both of Virginia Beach, also 5 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Saturday at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Monday in Virginia Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Gerald S. Vintinner officiating.
