Jennifer Dela Cruz Martinez

Jennifer Dela Cruz Martinez, 49, went home to be with the Lord on February 20, 2021. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. Jennifer is preceded in death by her parents, Artemio and Rosaro Dela Cruz. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of seven years, Paulo Martinez; three sons, Jeremy, 16 and twins, Jeffrey and Jason, 13; in-laws, Priscilla and Jose, Jr. Martinez; brothers, Dante, Orly, Jimmy, Ray and Jun; sisters, Imee and Vising; brother-in-law, Percival; sister-in-law, Tiffany; nephew, Nathaniel and numerous extended family and friends. Jennifer was born in the Philippines in 1971. She met her husband, Paulo in 2004 and were wed in 2013. Paulo, Jennifer and the boys came to the United States in 2015 and settled in Virginia Beach. Jennifer enjoyed spending time outdoors in parks or walking along the beach. There will be a visitation on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 2-6 pm with a prayer service at 3 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home at 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23502.
