Jessica Marie Hudgins

Jess was born on May 24, 1975 in Norfolk, VA. She was a devoted and caring wife, mother, daughter and granddaughter who took the greatest pleasure in demonstrating her love by giving her time to others. Jess enjoyed devoting herself to the running of her home and the caring of her family as well the children of other families. She enhanced the life of her grandfather by caring for him during his final months. Jess graduated from Maury High School with the class of 1994. She enjoyed cheerleading, roller-skating, and was an enthusiastic dancer. More recently, she participated in league bowling with friends and family.

Jess is survived by her husband of 17 years, Peter Dennis Hudgins, their daughters, Sarah Elizabeth and Erin Marie, her parents, Elizabeth Ann and Kenneth Smith, as well as her grandmother, Georgia Looney Woodworth. Additionally, Jess leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and her family of in-laws. She is predeceased by her loving grandfather, James Woodworth.
