Jesus "Zeus" R. Vargas Gomez

He served his country in the United States Navy for 20 years and 15 years at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Jesus was a thoughtful son and trusted brother. He was a super dad to his daughters, as well as a playful, adventurous Pop Pop to his grandchildren. To those around him, he was known to be a great mentor and beloved friend.

He is survived by his twin daughters, Nikki Vastano (Gomez), son-in-law Anthony, and Erica Turner (Gomez), son-in-law Steven, and his grandchildren, Elizabeth (9), Jade (5), and Anastasia (3). Additionally, he is survived by his mother and father, Carmen Nelly and Jose Antonio Urdaz, and his 6 siblings Maria, Janet, Nelson, Tonie, Mark, and Enid, as well as many nieces and nephews.
