An avid athlete in her youth, she cherished playing basketball and maintained leisurely interests in gardening and weekend reading throughout adulthood.
Joan's enduring legacy includes a steadfast work ethic, unwavering determination, and a quietly resilient spirit instilled in her descendants. She is left behind by her two children, four grandchildren, and two siblings.
