Joseph Raymond Clark, 72, passed away in Emporia, Virginia, on June 26, 2026. Born to the late James Robert and Genevieve Patterson Clark, Joey was a proud, independent man who worked at the shipyard for nearly 30 years before retiring. He was deeply devoted to his faith and church community.
Joey is survived by his daughter, Brook and his siblings and their spouses, Anne and Anthony Capuano, Maria and Ernest Anderson, David and Teresa Clark, and Tommy and Anita Clark, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Edward Osborne and James Robert Clark Jr. His gentle spirit and kindness will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
A graveside service will be held for Joseph Raymond Clark at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens on 7/7/2026 at 11 A.M.
