VIRGINIA BEACH- Joseph Welton Cunningham, 86, passed away on June 11, 2012. He was born in Norfolk, Va. and was the son of the late Daisy Cunningham McClanan and James Joseph Cunningham. He was predeceased by his twin brother, James T. Cunningham. He was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church and the Loyal Builders Sunday School Class. He is survived by his wife Gloria Justice Cunningham, a son John Joseph Cunningham and wife Kristin Cunningham of Lutz, Florida, a sister, Beatrice C. Ashley (James) of Hampton, Va., and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7-8pm Thursday, June 14, at Woodlawn Funeral Home 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 15, at 10:00am at Memorial United Methodist Church, 804 Gammon Road, Virginia Beach, Va., with Reverend John W. Cole, II officiating.
