Joseph Rose

Joe moved to Virginia Beach and raised a family. His greatest joy was his love for coaching and sports. He was a former travel soccer coach and former Olympic Development Program soccer coach. And nothing would stop him from rooting for the Virginia Tech Hokies, Portugal National Football Team, New England Patriots, or Real Madrid.

Joe loved spending time with his friends and family and researching history and lineages. He also loved his lifetime career as a defense contractor.

Joe was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Kerri Rose; parents Joseph Rose and Elisa Silva Rose; and ex wife Nora Rose.

He is survived by his son, daughter in-law and Grandson: Kevin, Karen and Colin Rose of Virginia Beach VA. As well as nieces, nephews, in laws, and friends.

He was loved by his family and friends and will be truly missed.

A brief graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery at 11:00am Saturday, November 14 at 6329 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502.

An after service gathering will be held at the family home directly after the service.
