Norfolk - Juanita Santulan Altares, 78, passed away Aug. 20, 2014. She was born Oct. 23, 1935 to the late Francisco and Maria Santulan in Putol, Cavite, Philippines. She was a parishioner at St. Pius X Catholic Church.
Left to cherish her memory are her five children; Floyd Altares, Jerry Altares, Troy Altares, Marisa Stallings, and Diane Altares; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix A. Altares, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Wed. Aug. 27, 2014 at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel with a wake service starting at 7:00 p.m. A service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thurs.
