Judith C. Robinson, age 81, peacefully passed away at her home in Virginia Beach on Sunday morning, December 10, 2023 after spending Saturday surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Adrian and Mabel Cooper and is predeceased by her siblings, Adrian Dorsey Jr., Robert “Brother”, Richard Vance, and June.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, committed to her family in every way. She is best described by her family as selfless, always putting her family’s needs before her own. Judy was a devoted bridge player for over 50 years and cherished the time spent with her “bridge sisters”. She was an avid animal lover of dogs and cats with a special affinity for horse and horseback riding.
Judith is cherished in memory by her husband of 62 years, Edward “Eddie” Robinson Jr., children Duane Robinson of Norfolk, Amy Robinson of Virginia Beach, and Curtis “Curt” Robinson and wife Susan Robinson of Moyock, NC, and grandchildren Curtis “CJ” Robinson Jr. and Abigail “Abby” Robinson of NC.
There will be a visitation from 5-7pm, Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2pm, Monday, December 18, 2023 in the Woodlawn Funeral Home chapel. Burial will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
