Mrs. June Ella Craig

Norfolk – June Ella Gentry Craig, 100, passed away July 10, 2010 in DePaul Medical Center. She was born June 5, 1910 in Asheville, NC. Mrs. Craig was a member of Colonial Heights Church of Christ, Norfolk and the Rebekah Lodge No.13, I.O.O.F. of Norfolk.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Craig; son, Roy Herbert Craig; and daughter, Joan Karen Craig Jones.

Mrs. Craig is survived by two daughters, Shirley Faye Craig Robins and husband Clarence A. and Margaret Loye Craig Dennis; 17 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. A service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Michael Curry. Burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park.
