Born, June 25th, 1965 to Ronald and Mary Collins in Naples, Italy, Karla returned to the states as a young child. She spent her childhood years in West Virginia and Virginia, surrounded by a close-knit family of cousins and creating a lifetime of cherished memories.
Karla's faith was a cornerstone of her life.
She gave her heart to God in 1980 and held fast to her beliefs through every trial and blessing. She found strength in her life verse, 2 Timothy 4:7, and was a proud graduate of Gateway Christian School, class of 1983.
Above all, Karla adored her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband and love of 27 years, Clark Grabow whom she adored. Her greatest joys was her children, Kristena Collins (Henry), Brittney Moore (Reginald), and Dylan Grabow, and her grandchildren, Gia, Trymaine, Trinity, Isaiah, and RJ.
Her kitchen was a place of love and warmth, where she carried on a cherished tradition from her mother, expressing her love through every meal she prepared. She was known to her grandchildren as "the best Grammy in the world."
Karla is reunited in heaven with her parents, Ronald and Mary Collins, and her sister, Frances Pool. She is survived by her devoted husband, her three children, five grandchildren, and countless friends and family whose lives she touched.
We will receive family and friends for her viewing at 10am and burial at 11am, August 8th, 2025 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 6329 E Virginia Beach Blvd Norfolk, VA 23502
