Kim Huu Huynh

Kim Huu Huynh, was born November 9, 1940, of Chesapeake residence, Virginia passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025. He was born in Vietnam to the late Phuoc Huu Huynh and Muoi Thi Duong. He served as an officer in the Army of the Republic of Vietnam advised by the United States. He was a teacher, and a happy retiree for many years in Chesapeake, Virginia. He will be remembered as an awesome guitar player who loved music and singing. He was great person, who worked hard.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Hanh Truong; daughters, Xuan Huynh (husband: Tam Tran, children: (Truc Huynh, Junho Jang), Loc Huynh); Lan Huynh (husband: Phu Huynh, children: (Mai Linh Huynh, Don Beveren), Michale Huynh); Ngoc Anh Huynh (husband: An Vo, children: (Son Vo Hanh Nguyen, grand daughter Eloise Vo), Phuc Vo); Van Huynh (husband: Minh Nguyen, child: Mai Nguyen); son, Kiet Huynh (wife: Tam Diep, children: Khanh Huynh, Thanh Huynh); daughter, Thuy Huynh (husband: Canh Khuu, children: Jennifer Khuu, Jennibelle Khuu, Jonathan Khuu)

The family is inviting relatives and friends to celebrate his life on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 12pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk, VA 23502. A viewing will follow ceremonies with fellowship and light refreshments until 5pm.
