Lester was predeceased by a son, Daniel Carey and a daughter, Kathleen (Carey) Lee. Lester is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Lillian Carey. Lester also leaves behind three sons, Edward, Robert and Andrew Carey and one daughter, Margaret Aldridge. As Papa, he leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He loved them all.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday December 1st at 1:00 pm at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6309 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk. In lieu of flowers please bring an unwrapped toy to the service, or to a Toys for Tots donation site in memory of Lester. Condolences may be offered to the family online at www.woodlawngroup.com.
