Linda Dunn Johnson, 86, went to be with our lord on September 22, 2026. Linda was born in Washington, DC to the late Cecil Dunn and Grace Basnight. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Ann Taylor and brother Cecil (Buster) Dunn. Linda worked and retired from Crossmark, resetting retail spaces.
Linda was a woman of faith, family and friends. She was a longtime, active member of Kempsville Christian Church. Linda loved everyone she met. Her personality and contagious smile, lit up every room she entered. She lived her life with faith in God, loving her family, and compassion for others. Although Linda will be deeply missed, she leaves the memories she created and will remain in our hearts forever.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Timothy Barbarisi (Judy), Terry, Debbie, Hollie, Jimmy (Tiffany); 13 grandchildren, Chasity, Nicholas, Ashley, William, Elaina, Colton, Haley, Courtney, Amanda, Cody, Kaylynn, Zachary and Taylor; 12 great grandchildren, Charles, Collin, Jonathan, Landon, Blake, Ethan, Layla, Isaiah, Brooklyn, Miyah, Kai and Winnie; and a host of other family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 3 pm at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk.
