Norfolk ~ Lindsey T. Williams, 79, of Norfolk, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2007 in his home. Born August 24, 1927 to the late Herman C. and Ruth (Falls) Williams. Graduated from Granby High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Married Doris Lineberry on September 10, 1955. Formerly employed with Air-A-Airplane Corporation, Norfolk Air Conditioning for 30 years, and finally retired from the Corps of Engineers after 15 years. He was a former member of the Owen's Masonic Lodge. He will be best remembered for his kind heart and always helping and assisting those he knew. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Doris L. Williams; two sons, Steven L. Williams and his wife, Beth, and David T. Williams; two grandchildren, Laurie Beth Williams and Nathan A. Williams. A service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 14, 2007 in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 Virginia Beach Blvd. Interment with honors by the U.S. Army will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
