He is survived by his children, Sharon Kay Craig (Chris), John Phillip Bryant (Debbie), Wendy Karen Vance, step-son John Payton (Starr) and eight grandchildren: Joshua Craig, Meagan Craig, Brandon Bryant, Caitlyn Bryant, Justin Bryant, Hunter Vance, Rachel Payton, and Travis Greenberg.
He was a kind and loving father and grandfather. He has now joined his wife Elizabeth, his sister Maxine and brothers: Stanley, Truman, Garland and Clayton in heaven.
He will be missed dearly and will forever be in our hearts.
There will be no viewing, but rest assured he is sporting all his Washington Redskin (Commanders) attire!
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, Virginia 23502.
