Born in the Bronx, Lucy became a Navy wife where Virginia Beach ultimately became her home with her her six children: Allison Jackson (Tom Higgins); Kenneth Jackson; Chris Jackson, Bruce Jackson (Bonnie Jackson); Jill Jackson Franklin and Debbie Jackson (Mike Hall). She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and her four great-grandkids.
She retired from the Virginia Beach Police Department and enjoyed her bridge games and spending time with family and friends.
Services will be Saturday, April 9 at the Carrow Baptist Church, 5545 Susquehanna Drive. A viewing will take place from 12-2p, with the service beginning at 2p. Condolences may be left at www.woodlawngroup.com.
