Marie M. Gibbs

Marie was a member of the National Federation of Republican Women since 1996, Compostella Heights Baptist Church as well as Woodland Heights Baptist Church. She loved her children and Grandchildren dearly, animals, and fishing at the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Mrs. Gibbs is predeceased by her husband Bromley C. Gibbs, son Macey Taylor Pridgen, III, mother Willie E. Foreman and father Herman G. Martin; Brothers Andrew R. Martin and Ben Bolt. Survived by daughters Linda M. Haynes(Derek), Teresa K. Gibbs(David), Darlene G. Farley(Jim), Maureen G. Rooks(Joey) and son David W. Pridgen(June) ; Brothers Herman G. Martin (Katherine); grandchildren William A. Garner, Kelly Aaron Jones, Jacqueline Necole Jones, Michael T. West, Austin T. West, Ashley Gibson, Madison G. Farley, Jordan K. Farley and Charlee Payton Coyle; great-grandchild Ava M. Cerrigone.

In honor of Martha Marie Gibbs a visitation will be held Wednesday February 3, 2010 from 6-8 pm, followed by a service Thursday at 10:00 am at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, 23502. Condolences may be offered to the family on-line at www.woodlawngroup.com.
