Marie Loveridge Wallace, 102, reunited with her husband, Jean Wallace in heaven on Aug. 12, 2013. Marie retired as a registered nurse for the City of Norfolk Public Health Department. She was an active member of the Norfolk and Bayview Garden Clubs and the Norfolk Senior Citizens Club. Marie was active in local politics, and a life member of the Eastern Star.
She leaves behind her son, Michael R. Wallace (Debby Tuthill); granddaughter, Lara M. Orndorff; her sister, Evelyn VanTassell; niece, Marilyn VanTassell; and great-nephew, Ian VanTassell.
A service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wed. Aug. 14, 2013 at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, 818 Norview Avenue, Norfolk VA 23509 with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
