Born to Roy and Lona (Porter) VanHoose. Eldest of eleven children. Martha worked for the FAA for several years. Married Wayne Reece a US Marine in Hawaii. They had no children. She is preceded in death by her husband Wayne. After several years of being a widow Martha moved to Lakeland, FL with her friend Louise Tocce. They lived in the same neighborhood and enjoyed several years of playing golf together. Martha left behind her late brothers Lee VanHoose's family in Ohio and Wayne's family in Iowa and also several other nieces and nephews. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband Wayne in Woodlawn Cemetery.
