Mary Ann Kenavan

Mary Ann Kenavan, 78, passed away September 23, 2016. Over the years Mary Ann's professional careers included nearly every people person job under the sun. She was wonderfully personable and always had a story to share. She was the life of the party and her infectious laughter will be missed.

She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-five years, Edward Brian Kenavan; her five children; Deborah Ann Phillips, Donna Marie Parsons, Kathleen Margaret DeVore, William Joseph Tompkins, and Michael Peter Tompkins. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren; Ronald Dean Emerson, Christopher John Parsons, Jennifer Ann Stegina, Michael Scott Hubert, Ashley Nicole Tompkins, Kenneth William Tompkins, Rachel Lauren Tompkins, Megan Elizabeth Tompkins, and Lyndsey Jo Tompkins. As well as her five great grandchildren Issac Kruger Emerson, Andrea Lynn Stegina, Xander Wolfe Emerson, Gunner Thomas Houlahan, and Aria Elaine Parsons.

The family will receive friends at Woodlawn Funeral Home and Crematory, 6329 E Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 5-8 PM. A service to celebrate her life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 11AM. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
