Mary Booth

Mary was born on December 16, 1938 in Assyria, Michigan. Mary married the love of her life, Jim, in December of 1957. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Norfolk for more than 40 years. Mary and Jim sang in the choir until Jim's passing in 2013, after which she was a faithful member of the homebound bible study group. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mary is reunited in heaven with her husband, James Booth, Sr.; daughter, Terasa Dawn; parents, Cecil and Lilah Baker; brother, Bill Baker and sister, Dorothy Hart.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, James Booth, Jr. (wife, Felecia) and David Booth (wife, Christy); daughters, Julie Paspas and Sheri Eller; grandchildren, Shannon, Timothy, Michael, Joshua, Genifer, Jessica, Gregory, Justin, Payton, Madi, Lucus and Mason; great-grandchildren, Anthony James, Emmalyn Joyce and Nathan. Mary is also survived by her brother, Richard Smith and sisters, Vivian Booher and Judy Swafford. Mary was loved by numerous friends, especially her friend of 50 years, Pam Grauer.
