Mary Lee Ebron-Ross, 73, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 in Virginia Beach to be with her Lord and Saviour, Mary was born in Oak City, NC to the late Percy and Lela Ebron. She is also predeceased by her brother, Percy L. Ebron, Jr. Mary had such a fun-loving and vivacious personality, and was considered by many to be the life of the party. She loved writing, dancing, cooking, Barry White, and a very special place in her heart for her husband, William Anthony Ross. She was a devout Christian and a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church choir for years. Mary took great pride in her achievements; she was a college graduate, dental hygienist, inspection’s clerk for the City of Chesapeake Virginia, and served in the United States army as a specialist for 3 years.
She is cherished in memory by her daughter, Mitchelle Ebron; granddaughters, Ashley Ebron and Myyah Ebron; great granddaughter; Asia Moore; sisters, Lula Stokes, Dorothy Ebron, and Cleoma Blount as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other significant family members and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10am, Friday, August 26, 2022 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation the night before between 5-7pm on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Woodlawn Funeral Home.
