Mary left us on February 27th, 2021. She was born to William and Nora Vest in Louisville, KY. on the 6th of August in 1943. She had eight brothers and is survived by her youngest brother, Fred Blumenstiel. Mary met her future husband, Cecil Joe Long in Corpus Christi, Texas while on vacation. They were married later that year on November 24th, 1960 and were married until his passing on July 31, 2004. They had three sons, Joe, Steve, and David Long. Dave proceeded her on July 18th of 2020. Mary was a beautician and styled hair for close to fifty years. She loved to travel, loved Las Vegas, bingo, cruises, dances, and just enjoyed having a good time in her retirement. She is survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends as well as her sons and brother.
A visitation will be from 5-7pm, Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 1pm, Monday, March 8, 2021 in the funeral home chapel.
