Mary Y. Madi

A Norfolk native, Mary resided in the Tidewater area all of her young life. She was preceded in death by a sister Hedaia Madi.

Mary is widely loved for her sense of humor, kindness and her indomitable spirit. She enjoyed gaming and loved animals.

Survivors include her mother Mary Madi; fiancé Robert Giordano; three brothers Thomas Whitmer, Ghasib Madi and Hytham Madi; an uncle Thomas Blanchard; a sister Hannah Madi and husband Rami Elsaai; a nephew Adam Elsaai, and step parents Kurt and Lori Carlson.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norview Chapel.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Girl Scouts.
